FIXED ACTIVE FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS WITH ECOLOGICAL AND BREATHABLE GASEOUS AGENTS

Depending on the destination and constructive system, we recommend one of the following solutions:

1. COMPLETE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS WITH INERGEN GAS
Automatic fire extinguishing systems with INERGEN gas are used in spaces which needs an electrical nonconductive environment, and the protected area is permanently used by people.
INERGEN is an extinguishing substance composed from the mixing of three gases which reduces the oxygen quantity: 52% nitrogen, 40% argon and 8% carbon dioxide.
INERGEN gas extinguishes the fire by reducing the level of oxygen under the level needed for combustion. Upon the discharge of INERGEN, the persons can comfortably breathe, because the increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide speeds up the
respiration rhythm and increase the capacity of the organism to assimilate the oxygen. It is the only gas in the world tested on human subjects and, consequently, it is accepted anywhere in the world.
The system contains INERGEN gas, kept in the gaseous stage in high alloy steel gasholder tanks, at the pressure of 150 bar or 200 bar. To discharge, there are manual or automated devices. The substance is distributed and discharged into the protected area by a distribution network containing pipes and fixed nozzles, which give a uniform discharge level.

2. COMPLETE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS WITH NITROGEN, ARGON, NOVEC 1230, FM 200
Novec 1230 fluid is a fluoroketon that offers a number of important advantages for conventional halon gas replacement. Extinguishing through his cooling effect, Novec 1230 fluid works as a gas, but it is a liquid at room temperature. Because is not factory stored in pressurized cylinders, Novec 1230 fluid is easy to handle and recharge. Novec 1230 fluid system allows a more efficient use of space and requires approximately the same number of cylinders as conventional halocarbon agents.
Novec 1230 fluid is non-corrosive, non-conductive and evaporates rapidly, so it will not damage your high value assets. The level of vaporization is fifty times greater than water and, unlike foams and powders do not leave dirty residues and allows systems to remain operational.
Novec 1230 fluid is a very effective extinguishing agent that can be used for various applications. It is ideal for special hazards: spaces of capital importance for maintaining high value equipments

3. COMPLETE FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS WITH CO2
CO2 is a colourless gas, odourless and does not conduct electricity. He extinguished the fire by reducing oxygen concentration in the space and has as side effect cooling. Breathing this gas, even in some small concentrations may cause asphyxiation (insufficient oxygenation of the blood), which should be taken into consideration.
Total flooding extinguishing system with carbon dioxide is achieved only at spaces where existing gaps (doors, windows, vents, pipes and so on) may be closed before or simultaneously with carbon dioxide overflow commencement. Total flooding can extinguish surface fires, fires triggered on solid combustible material mass or fires commenced at electrical generators.
For total flooding fire extinguishing, the whole space of the protected area must be filled with carbon dioxide so that the oxygen concentration to fall in the shortest time possible below maintaining combustion value.
Putting into operation of automatic fixed fire fighting installations with carbon dioxide can be pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, air-mechanical triggered, electrical combined with air-operated (for low pressure systems), electrical combined with air-mechanical (for high pressure systems) or with other operation systems.
